A Russian drone attack in Sumy Oblast killed four civilians, including a 17-year-old and a medic, the regional administration chief Oleh Hryhorov said on Feb. 22.

He said Russian forces dropped a munition from a drone on the outskirts of the Znob-Novhorodske community, where two brothers were wounded by the explosion and hospitalized. While they were being transported, Russian forces deliberately struck the ambulance with a strike drone.

The ambulance caught fire in the attack. Only the driver survived; he sustained severe burns and remains in hospital. According to the regional administration, the dead are the two brothers — one of them 17 — and a married couple, with the woman working as a medical professional.
