Russian drone strike hits Kherson minibus, leaving one dead and seven wounded

According to Prokudin, the attack killed a 53-year-old woman and injured seven Kherson residents—four men aged 19, 56, 64, and 72, and three women aged 58, 61, and 66.

“Six of the injured are under medical supervision and receiving necessary treatment. One woman declined hospitalization,” Prokudin stated.

Russian drone attacks on Kherson

On Feb. 2, Russian forces attacked another minibus in Kherson using a drone, injuring five people, including two children—a 12-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, according to Kherson Oblast authorities.

On Feb. 5, the Kherson Oblast Prosecutor’s Office reported that Russian forces launched a drone strike on Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson. The attack injured seven people, including three police officers.

On Feb. 11, Prokudin warned that Russian drone strikes would continue unless the frontline was pushed at least 20 kilometers away from the regional capital.

“This is a battle of technologies, a battle for survival. We constantly adapt to the Russians, and they adapt to us… It’s like some kind of Star Wars, I don’t even know what to call it,” he said.
