Russian Shahed drones bypass interceptor lines thanks to Belarus — Zelenskyy

All relevant tasks were assigned, and answers to these questions are expected at the next HQ meeting, added Zelenskyy.

Early on Dec. 26, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration Oleksii Kuleba said Russian drones damaged railway infrastructure at Kovel station in Volyn Oblast overnight. A locomotive and freight car were damaged; the blast wave shattered windows in the locomotive depot shop.

On Dec. 22, Ukrainian Railways reported a freight train derailment near Korosten in Zhytomyr Oblast; the locomotive crew — engineer and assistant — was injured. The company later clarified the incident resulted from an explosion due to a Shahed drone attack.

On the evening of Dec. 25, Russian forces struck a critical infrastructure site in Volyn Oblast. Online reports mentioned a railway attack.
