Russian drones hit infrastructure, cut power in Odesa Oblast

Russia launched a drone attack on the southern part of Ukraine’s Odesa Oblast overnight, damaging energy, industrial, and port infrastructure, regional Governor Oleh Kipper reported on Telegram on March 17.
The attack sparked fires across several facilities, which first responders have already extinguished.
Several settlements were left without electricity. Critical infrastructure has been switched to backup power.
There have been no reported casualties. Efforts to mitigate the consequences of the attack and assess the damage are ongoing.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 154 of the 178 attack drones that the enemy launched at Ukraine overnight were shot down.
