One man was injured in a fire caused by debris from the intercepted Russian drone in the Solomyanskyi district of the Ukrainian capital, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported on Telegram early on Oct. 21.
The debris set fire to the roof of a one-story residential building. The victim refused hospitalization.
Damage to an electric cable in the Dniprovskyi district and minor damage to an apartment in a nine-story building in the Holosiivskyi district of the city were also reported.
Up to a dozen of enemy drones approaching Kyiv from different directions were shot down by the Ukrainian air defenses in the more than five-hour-long Russian attack on the capital overnight.
On the same night, twelve people were injured in a Russian attack with four high-explosive Grom-E1 guided bombs hybridized with air-to-surface cruise missiles on the city of Kharkiv.
