Russia strikes Zlatopil, Kharkiv Oblast with drones killing one and injuring seven

A Russian drone strike on the city of Zlatopil in Ukraine’s Kharkiv Oblast killed a woman, regional governor Oleh Synehubov said on Telegram on July 14.

Preliminary data indicate the Russian army struck the city with a Geran-2 UAV.

Synehubov reported that seven people were injured in the Russian shelling, including a 13-year-old child.

The regional administration said doctors are providing prompt assistance, and all relevant services are working at the site.

On the night of July 14, explosions were heard across Poltava, Dnipro, and Kharkiv oblasts. Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with four S-300/400 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 136 drones. Ukraine’s air defenses neutralized 108 drones, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, two districts were struck in the attack. Three people were injured, including two 13-year-old girls.

In Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Oblast, a local industrial enterprise was damaged. In Kharkiv, a drone hit a roadway in the Nemyshlianskyi district.
