The attack is the latest in a wave of overnight strikes targeting Ukrainian infrastructure.

Earlier that morning, the national rail operator Ukrzaliznytsia reported that Russia’s overnight combined drone and missile attack was focused on Ukraine’s critical railway infrastructure, causing delays across the country and prompting the deployment of reserve locomotives.

As of 7 a.m. EET, at least 45 trains were delayed in the Odessa and Dnipro directions.
