Russian forces launch drone strike on Kharkiv apartment building

A Russian drone struck a high-rise residential building in Kharkiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district overnight, sparking a fire, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on June 22.

He stated that the UAV hit the exterior of the building’s 22nd floor.

“The building’s facade caught fire, but it has since been extinguished. Nearly a dozen windows shattered,” he noted.

Preliminary reports indicate no injuries.
