A nine-story apartment building and a critical energy infrastructure facility were damaged in a Russian drone strike on Chernihiv late on Dec. 23, causing power outages, regional Governor Dmytro Bryzhynskyi reported on Telegram.

The neighborhood’s heating network was also damaged. Repair efforts are underway.

Fires at the site of the attack have been extinguished. There have been no reported casualties.

An emergency response center has been set up at the site of the strike.

That same night, at least three Russian guided aerial bombs ripped through a densely populated neighborhood in Zaporizhzhya, damaging 13 apartment buildings.
