Three individuals sustained blast injuries, while three others suffered a stress reaction after encountering a tripwire left by Russian soldiers in a forested area near the village.
Law enforcement authorities have opened a preliminary investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The victims are currently being treated in a hospital, said Maksym Stetsyna, head of the Chuhuiv police department, to the public broadcaster Suspilne.
"These people were not connected; they decided to evacuate independently," he said.
Earlier the same day, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that a Russian airstrike killed three civilians in the village of Bilyi Kolodyazh, Kharkiv Oblast.
