Russian invaders advance near Novoselivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast — DeepState

According to maps, Russians advanced near Novoselivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (Novopavlivka direction) and made gains near Shandryholove and Derylove in the Lyman sector, while the Ukrainian General Staff reported 191 clashes across the front in the past 24 hours, including 31 Russian assaults in the Lyman sector and 15 in Novopavlivka.

On Aug. 26, DeepState reported that Russian troops had captured the villages of Zaporizke and Novoheorhiivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, but the General Staff denied the claim.

On Aug. 27, Ukrainian General Staff spokesman Viktor Trehubov said Ukrainian forces had stopped Russian advances in Zaporizke and Novoheorhiivka at the administrative border of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, noting that Russian troops are present in both settlements but have not secured positions there.

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) noted that these movements are too limited to be considered a breakthrough into Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, describing them as small-scale penetrations.
