Russian forces have advanced in Donetsk Oblast, according to the monitoring project DeepState on Apr. 5.

Russian forces advanced near Pryvillia in the Bakhmut district, according to the project’s map.

On April 3, DeepState reported that Russian occupying forces advanced near the village of Riasne in Sumy Oblast. At the same time, Ukraine’s Defense Forces cleared areas near two settlements in Donetsk Oblast.

On March 31, the 7th Rapid Response Corps of Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces said Russian troops were unable to advance in Hryshyne in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast and were facing shortages of food and water. Earlier, DeepState analysts reported that Russian forces continued to apply pressure on Hryshyne, gradually increasing their infantry presence in the settlement.
