On Aug. 6, analysts reported that Russian forces identified new weak points in the defense of the Serebryansky forestry and are attempting to exploit the situation to their advantage. Recent changes on the map reflect the effects of constant enemy pressure on the Armed Forces of Ukraine's positions. Whereas previously this area remained relatively stable and unpromising for the occupiers, the situation has now changed.

On the same day, DeepState stated that the aggressor country's forces advanced in the Serebryansky forestry and near four settlements in Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts.

The Serebryansky forest, also known as Kreminsky, covers an area of 10.1 hectares and is located near the city of Kreminna. Part of this territory belongs to the Serebryansky local nature reserve. Since late summer 2022, this has been one of the key defensive lines.
