13 people were injured, including a 1-year-old girl. 11 of the injured were hospitalized, including a 13-year-old child.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service said the strike damaged a multi-story apartment building in Pavlohrad, sparking fires in several units. Rescuers saved 10 people, including two children, while extinguishing the blazes.
Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, said Russian forces dropped guided aerial bombs on Pavlohrad.
"Until today, guided aerial bombs were a threat to front-line communities in the Synelnykove district," he wrote on Telegram. “Pavlohrad had lived under missiles and Shahed [drones], but not KAB [guided aerial bombs]. Now the enemy is upgrading these bombs and reaching farther with them. Unfortunately, this is a new reality for Pavlohrad.”
Overnight, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 94 attack drones. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 81 of the drones.
