Russian forces launch 165 drones in overnight attack against Ukraine

As of 07:00 a.m., Ukrainian air defenses shot down or neutralized 112 enemy UAVs.

UAVs made impact at 14 locations with debris from shot-down targets falling in seven locations.

The Air Force warned that the Russian attack was still underway, with multiple enemy UAVs still in Ukrainian airspace.

Russia continued its days-long drone assault on Kyiv into the night of September 28, launching a strike that hit the Stolychnyi market in the capital's suburbs – killing two people and wounding nearly ten others.

The overnight attack on Kyiv also struck an apartment building, multiple office buildings, and a gas station in the Podilskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Obolonskyi districts, wounding three minors.

Russian guided aerial bombs targeted the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of Kharkiv overnight on September 28. One of the bombs hit a residential high-rise, wounding at least 25 people.
