Russian forces launch 100+ drones in overnight attack against Ukraine

Russian forces launched drone strikes from: Orel, Millerovo, Bryansk, and Shatalovo in Russia; from occupied Donetsk; and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
As of 08:00 a.m., Ukrainian air defenses shot down or neutralized 87 enemy UAVs.
UAVs made impact at 11 locations with debris from shot-down targets falling in four locations.
Ukrainian Air Defense Forces managed to shoot down or neutralize 84% of Russian jet-powered Shahed drones launched against Ukraine, the Air Force reported on September 30.
A Russian drone barrage struck Kyiv overnight on October 1, sparking fires in residential buildings and warehouses across the capital’s Solomianskyi, Obolonskyi, and Pecherskyi districts. The attack wounded one person.
An overnight strike also targeted a business center in Odesa, wounding one person and causing widespread damage to office buildings, including shattered windows, a partially collapsed fifth-floor wall, and an active structure fire.
