Russian forces have once again attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles, guided airstrikes, and drones, and Ukrainian air defenses shot down 29 of 66 drones as of 11 a.m. on Oct. 11, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, an Kh-31P guided missile, and 66 attack drones, according to the military. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 29 drones across Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Zhytomyr oblasts, while 31 drones were lost in various areas, likely due to electronic warfare countermeasures. Two drones returned to Russia, and four drones remain airborne as combat operations continue, the Air Force reported.

Air alerts were issued in many oblasts, including Kyiv, where air defenses intercepted all drones that posed a threat to the capital.

In Odesa Oblast, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike, resulting in four deaths, including a 16-year-old girl, local authorities reported.
