The attacks struck the capital’s Darnytskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts.
Fires broke out in an administrative-warehouse building in the Darnytskyi district, spreading to nearby parked trucks and another warehouse. Rescuers managed to extinguish the fire, but not before it claimed the lives of two people and wounded two others, including a child.
The strikes also sparked a blaze in a warehouse in the Sviatoshynskyi district, where the State Emergency Service reported two people were wounded before the flames were extinguished.
Firefighting and cleanup operations are ongoing. Information regarding the casualties is being clarified.
Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv overnight on July 14, triggering a warehouse fire in the Holosiivskyi district and destroying a car in the Darnytskyi district. Rescuers extinguished both fires. The State Emergency Service reported that one strike left a large crater nearby, damaging the main building of a local boarding school and shattering windows in its auxiliary facility.
