Russian FPV drone attack in Sloviansk injures two children

Russian forces attacked Sloviansk with FPV drones on Jan. 24, injuring two teenagers aged 16 and 17, Ukraine’s Interior Ministry said on Jan. 25.

The Sloviansk city military administration said teenage girls who were walking outside were injured. Medics provided them with the necessary assistance. Law enforcement officials added that FPV drone strikes damaged an apartment building and two cars.

The Interior Ministry said Russian attacks targeted Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka and Sloviansk. In Mykolaivka, a Russian FPV drone damaged a private house. In Kramatorsk and its outskirts, Russian forces struck with a FAB-250 aerial bomb and a drone, damaging seven private homes.

Russian forces carried out three more strikes on the city after midnight on Jan. 25, with no casualties reported. In addition, authorities confirmed that one person in Lyman was wounded in Russian shelling on Jan. 23.

Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, said Russian forces shelled settlements in Oblast nine times over the past day. Eighty-four people, including 25 children, were evacuated from front-line areas.
