7:22 a.m. Rescuers found the body of one person
killed in the attack under the rubble of the destroyed building, the mayor said.
7:08 a.m. The number of people injured in the
strike on the Kholodnohirskyi district rose to nine, five of them hospitalized,
the Kharkiv Oblast military administration said. A man may still be trapped
under the rubble, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov told Suspilne.
6:30 a.m. Rescuers pulled a woman from the rubble
of the building. She was alive and receiving medical care, Suspilne reported.
5:21 a.m. Six people were known to have been
injured in Russia’s strike on Kharkiv, including a child, Kharkiv Oblast
Governor Oleh Synehubov said.
Synehubov said the injured included men ages 66, 60 and
49, women ages 54 and 87, and a 6-year-old child.
4:46 a.m. Synehubov said a young boy was among the five
injured.
Terekhov said
one person had been freed from the rubble in serious condition. He said more
people could still be trapped under the debris.
On the morning of June 19, Russian forces attacked
Kharkiv’s Kholodnohirskyi district with guided aerial bombs. The strike damaged
more than 40 private homes and a warehouse.
Nine people were injured in that attack, including four children.
