Russian forces advance in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya oblasts — DeepState

Russian forces have made advances near Filiia in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as well as near Malynivka and Okhotnychе in Zaporizhzhya Oblast (Oleksandrivka direction).
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, there were 223 combat engagements along the front line over the past day, as reported in the morning update on Oct. 19.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 16 times near the settlements of Sosnivka, Vorone, Novomykolaivka, Novohryhorivka and Malynivka. The heaviest fighting occurred on the Pokrovsk front, with 47 Russian assault and offensive actions.
Situation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On Oct. 2, the DeepState project reported that Russian forces captured two settlements in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and one in Zaporizhzhya Oblast: Kalynivske, Olhivske and Berezove. Later, Ukraine’s 20th Army Corps said the Defense Forces had regained control of Kalynivske, halting Russia’s advance.
On Oct. 3, DeepState reported that Ukrainian forces successfully cleared Russian troops from Sosnivka, Khoroshe, Novoselivka and Snizhne in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
On Oct. 7, DeepState stated that Russian troops occupied the village of Maliivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and advanced near several other settlements in Zaporizhzhya and Donetsk oblasts.
On Oct. 13, reports said Russian forces occupied the village of Ternove in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
