Russian strike destroys one of Ukraine’s largest logistics centers in Bucha District

“A ballistic missile struck Amtel’s main distribution center outside Kyiv, which handled cargo deliveries across the country,” Oleksandr Sokolovskyi, founder and head of the Textile-Contact group, wrote on Facebook. “Goods for Ukrainian businesses, medicines, humanitarian aid and hundreds of thousands of parcels passed through this logistics hub.”

The Amtel warehouse covered 100,200 square meters.

More than 200 emergency workers, 73 vehicles and three helicopters were deployed to extinguish the fire, the State Emergency Service’s Kyiv Oblast branch said.

Many prominent companies operated warehouses at the Amtel complex. Retailers goodwine and Winetime were among those that reported losing storage facilities in the attack.

“We have sad news. Eight enemy ballistic missiles struck our main product warehouse during the overnight attack,” Winetime wrote on Facebook. “This is a significant loss for Winetime. We are extremely grateful to the State Emergency Service for its rapid response and courageous efforts to fight the fire.”

No Winetime employees were injured, the company added.

“About the destruction of the warehouses: Russian missiles also struck the goodwine warehouse overnight. This is the second time,” goodwine wrote on Facebook. “Most importantly, no one was killed. Some employees of the warehouse operator were injured.”

Only part of goodwine’s remaining inventory was stored at the site at the time of the attack, the company said.

“We are now doing everything possible to prevent disruptions or delays while continuing to support deliveries to partners who lost most of their inventory,” goodwine added.

Three international logistics operators — DB Schenker, Ekol Logistics and Logistics Plus — also listed Amtel as one of their warehouse locations.

The Amtel office and logistics complex, operated by International Logistics Company LLC, belongs to Gistion LLC. Gistion purchased the property from the Dragon Capital group in May 2024.

International Logistics Company’s revenue rose 24.5% in 2025 to UAH 299.14 million, while net profit increased 68.7% to UAH 185.18 million, according to YouControl.
