were heard in at least five Ukrainian oblasts amidst another Russian mass missile and drone attack on Monday, Jan. 8, reported Kharkiv Regional Military Administration
head Oleh Synehubov.
The morning began with an explosion, reported Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"There may be additional incoming attacks, so I urge everyone to be cautious," he wrote.
Explosions have also been reported in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya, Kryvi Rih, and Khmelnytsky oblasts.
Russia launched new waves of cruise missiles at Ukrainian cities from strategic bombers and Kinzhal missiles from MiG-31K aircraft on the morning of Jan. 8.
Russian forces targeted Kharkiv with S-300 missiles during the night. From the south, Russia attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones.
