Russian missile strike: Fire in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, one fatality reported

A Russian missile strike on Ukraine on Aug. 26 resulted in explosions in the Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih districts, leaving one person dead, according to Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhii Lysak.

The official stated that the deceased was 69 years old.

“Several fires broke out, including one at a summer house. We are clarifying the details,” Lysak said.

Earlier, it was reported that a residential building in Lutsk was damaged by a Russian attack on Aug. 26. The information was confirmed by Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk.

He later clarified that an urban infrastructure facility was damaged in the attack, and one person was killed.

According to Volyn Oblast Governor Yurii Pohuliaiko, a high-rise building in Lutsk was damaged by debris from a Russian drone shot down by air defense forces.
