These people are not responding to calls after the overnight attack and may be beneath the collapsed section of the building.
The State Emergency Service’s (SES) rescuers are operating under the assumption that people could be beneath the rubble.
According to Klymenko, three survivors have already been rescued.
The rescue efforts involve climbers, dog handlers, psychologists, and various equipment. More than 500 rescuers and 1,000 police officers are working at various sites across the city that were targeted in the combined drone and missile attack.
The situation remains critical as rescuers continue to search for survivors trapped under destroyed and damaged buildings.
Overnight, the enemy targeted Kyiv’s densely populated areas with Shahed drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, damaging approximately one hundred buildings and infrastructure facilities.
Emergency efforts are ongoing at twenty sites in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Solomyanskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, Obolonskyi, and Desnyanskyi districts.
At least eight people were killed and more than 30 others, including children, were injured in the attack on the Ukrainian capital.
