Russian missiles hit school and residential areas in Khmelnytskyi city

“Another shelling of Khmelnytskyi Oblast took place during the morning terrorist attack,” he said.
“Our air defense forces shot down part of what was incoming, but one of the missiles hit one of the communal infrastructure facilities of the Khmelnytskyi territorial community.”
According to Symchyshyn, the facility sustained significant damage.
“Our firs responders promptly and efficiently extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to other buildings,” he said.
The mayor added that an educational institution, high-rise residential buildings, and private houses suffered some destruction: in particular, windows, doors and rooves were shattered and broken.
According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties in the attack.
The Russian military unleashed a new barrage of missile and drone attacks on a number of Ukrainian regions overnight on Feb. 10. Cruise missiles were launched from Black Sea Fleet and strategic bombers.
Damage to energy infrastructure and high-voltage facilities was reported by national power operator Ukrenergo in Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, air defenses have shot down 61 of 71 incoming missiles.
