Russian drones hit DTEK energy site in Odesa Oblast, leaving tens of thousands without power

A Russian mass strike with Shahed drones damaged a DTEK energy facility in Odesa Oblast, the company said on Nov. 17.
About 32,000 customers were left without power, DTEK said. Another 4,000 households were reconnected using backup schemes.
The company noted that the damage to the energy facility is significant and repairs will take time. Crews will begin work as soon as they receive clearance from the military and emergency services.
Earlier on Nov. 17, the Odesa Regional Military Administration reported a massive Shahed attack that damaged energy and port infrastructure, including several civilian vessels. The State Emergency Service reported fires.
