Russian strike leaves parts of six Ukrainian oblasts without power — Energy Ministry

The outages affect Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts. The ministry said energy workers are operating in an enhanced mode to restore electricity supply to all consumers as quickly as possible.
On March 24, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., hourly outage schedules will be applied in most oblasts of Ukraine for all categories of consumers, the Energy Ministry said.
Power limitations for industry will also remain in effect through the end of the day.
Overnight into March 24, Russia launched missile and drone strikes on Poltava, killing two people and injuring 11 others. Residential buildings and a hotel were damaged, and fires broke out at the impact sites.
Russian forces also carried out a combined strike on Zaporizhzhia overnight, killing one person and injuring five others.
According to the Air Force, Russian troops launched 34 missiles and 392 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of UAVs, against Ukraine.
