On the evening of Sept. 27, Russian forces launched multiple waves of Shahed drones toward Ukraine, triggering air alerts in several oblasts. Reports indicated explosions in Dnipro and air defense operations in Kyiv Oblast and the capital.
The Russian military fired 73 Shahed drones, two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, and two Kh-59/69 guided missiles, with air defense forces intercepting two cruise missiles and 69 drones, according to the Air Force.
