Russian strike hits Khmelnytskyi Oblast, causing fire at infrastructure object

A fire is raging at an infrastructure object in Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi Oblast after a Russian strike on June 14, Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration head Serhiy Tyurin reported on Facebook.

Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries or fatalities so far.

Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy 11 Russian targets in Khmelnytskyi Oblast.

Russian attack on June 14

Air raid alerts were activated across all Ukrainian oblasts on June 14 due to Russian drone attacks and bomber activity, followed by the launch of MiG fighters. 

Most of the threats were directed towards the Khmelnytskyi Oblast and Starokostyantyniv city.

Russia launched 14 missiles at Ukraine, including Iskander-M ballistic missiles and a Kinzhal aero-ballistic missile, along with 17 combat drones.

 Ukrainian air defense forces intercepted seven missiles and all 17 drones.
