Three children were killed and 12 other people were injured when Russian invaders struck Ukraine’s Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said on May 25.

On the night of May 24, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine from both the north and south, killing at least three people and injuring ten others in Kyiv Oblast, according to regional authorities.

Kyiv Regional Administration head Mykola Kalashnyk confirmed that two bodies were recovered during a fire response in the Obukhiv district, while another fatality was reported in the Bucha district.

Among the injured were six people in the Bila Tserkva district — including two children — two women in the Fastiv district, and two more individuals in Bucha. Rescuers noted that three of the injured children were 8, 12, and 17 years old. One of the children’s bodies was found under rubble.

Ten people were hospitalized, and emergency crews, including State Emergency Service units and Red Cross volunteers, provided medical and psychological assistance at the scene. Damage was also reported to a five-story building, private homes, and outbuildings in the Berdychiv district, where two additional people were injured, including a child.
