‘Russia is waging information warfare’: Russia knocks out TV broadcasting in Sumy & Kharkiv oblasts

Officials also warned of potential mobile communication disruptions.

Russia is waging an information war by destroying Ukrainian broadcasting services, said Sumy Oblast Governor Volodymyr Artiukh.

Efforts are underway to assess the damage and develop restoration plans.

Artiukh urged residents not to panic or fall for misinformation, advising them to switch to alternative communication methods and trust only verified information sources.

Russia also attacked TV infrastructure in northeastern Ukraine’s Kharkiv Oblast overnight on March 14.
