Five killed and five injured in Russian strikes on Donetsk Oblast

At least five people were killed and five more wounded in Donetsk Oblast as a result of Russian forces' strikes, the regional prosecutor's office reported on Facebook on July 18.

An 85-year-old local man and his wife were killed during an artillery shelling of the village of Pleshchiyivka.

Three more women, aged 26, 32, and 77, were killed as a result of the enemy attack on the village of Hrodivka.

Two people were wounded in an airstrike by two KAB-250 guided aerial bombs in Velyka Novosilka. Another 58-year-old man was injured during the shelling of Zalizne.

Three more people were wounded in the shelling of Myrnohrad, according to Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration.

"According to preliminary information, Russians fired two missiles at the city," he said. "Three administrative buildings, two residential two-story buildings, and an industrial building were damaged."

Donetsk Oblast suffers from daily shelling by the Russian army. The aggressor struck Pokrovsk on July 17, injuring five people.
