Russian invaders escalate activity in Bilohorivka area, Luhansk Oblast

According to Zaporozhets, the increased use of drones by Russian forces has made it harder for Ukrainian troops to move in and out of positions, forcing them to remain in place longer.

“The enemy is actively conducting assault operations and saturating the front line to prepare for an attack on Bilohorivka,” said the spokesman for the Luhansk Operational-Tactical Unit.

Zaporozhets added that the Russians are committing between 50 and 150 personnel to each assault.

On March 13, the DeepState project reported Russian advances near Bilohorivka in Luhansk, as well as near Hryhorivka and Dniproenerhia in Donetsk.

On March 10, Zaporozhets noted that Russian forces were moving units from other areas to attack Toretsk in Donetsk.

He also mentioned the use of artillery and tactical aviation in assaults on Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and Druzhkivka.

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported on March 10 that Russian forces are pressing on six fronts, including in Sumy and Kursk oblasts, as well as near Siversk, Kurakhove, Toretsk in Donetsk, and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhya.
