Eight injured as high-rises and infrastructure in city are damaged

The number of people injured in Kryvyi Rih has risen to eight, with three remaining in the hospital.

The rest are receiving outpatient treatment, according to Oblast's military administration.

An aid headquarters has been set up in the city.

Earlier reports from the State Emergency Service indicated that seven people were injured after a Russian missile strike hit a dense urban area.

The attack caused a car fire and damaged high-rise buildings, a store, a car wash, and an infrastructure facility.

By 12:10 p.m., the number of injured had increased to five, all in moderate condition. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk ODA, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed the attack caused fires and damage to the city's infrastructure.

The city’s Defense Council head, Oleksandr Vilkul, had previously warned of possible further missile strikes after confirming ballistic missile attacks on Kryvyi Rih.

The Air Force of the Ukrainain Armed Forces had also issued warnings of the threat of ballistic weapons from the southeast.

Meanwhile, in Dnipro, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on the night of March 28, killing four and injuring more than 20.

The Bartolomeo hotel and restaurant complex was hit, causing fires, including in nearby homes.

On the night of March 29, Ukraine's air defense forces intercepted 94 out of 172 Shahed and simulator drones launched by Russian forces.
