Russian bombs hit Kharkiv center, trap residents in rubble

Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration head Oleh Synehubov specified that the attack injured two people, including a 27-year-old woman, and targeted the Shevchenkivskyi district’s residential area.

Terekhov later reported that one bomb struck near a multi-story residential building, with indications that people may be trapped under the rubble and approximately 15 cars are burning at the site. The second strike hit a civilian enterprise.

The Air Force had earlier warned of guided bomb launches toward Kharkiv. An air raid alert remains in effect in Kharkiv and the surrounding region.

Overnight into July 24, explosions rocked Odesa as Russia launched a massive drone attack on the city’s historic center. The State Emergency Service reported that a nine-story residential building was destroyed, leaving residents from the fifth to eighth floors homeless. Fires broke out in homes on the fifth and sixth floors of one entrance, with a risk of structural collapse.
