New satellite images reveal strike damage at a Russian oil terminal in Krasnodar Krai

Photos confirm that two fuel tanks were damaged.

The Russian Telegram channel Astra previously reported that one tank contained 60 tons of oil and the other 60 tons of diesel fuel, noting that the second tank sustained surface damage but did not catch fire.

On Feb. 5, Ukraine’s General Staff said Ukrainian forces attacked an oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai with drones and also damaged a Russian Buk air defense system in occupied Zaporizhzhya.

The strike on the Albashneft LLC refinery was carried out by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) in coordination with the military.

According to the General Staff, the facility is a “mini-refinery” supplying gasoline and diesel to Russian occupation forces.

On Feb. 6, Astra, citing sources, reported that the oil depot was hit by an “unidentified missile.”

The General Staff Colonel Telegram channel had earlier claimed Ukrainian forces successfully tested a cruise missile at a training ground in Krasnodar, though there is no official confirmation.
