At least five wounded in second Kharkiv-Derhachi strike by Russia

The Russian military attacked Kharkiv and Derhachi, Kharkiv Oblast, for the second time in one day, regional governor Oleh Synehubov reported on May 23.

Five people were wounded, the head of the Derhachi military administration reported. A man and a woman were hospitalized, and three more people have an acute stress reaction.

Russia launched a massive attack on Kharkiv and the towns of Zolochiv and Liubotyn in Kharkiv Oblast on the afternoon of May 23. At least 15 strikes were reported.

In Kharkiv, the Russian army attacked the transport infrastructure and a unit of the municipal enterprise that provides life support to the city, said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

The attack killed at least seven people and injured 16 others. Five of those killed in Kharkiv were employees of the Vivat printing house. They were at their workplaces when the attack took place.
