Ukraine steps up security at TCC and military centers after bomb attacks

Security measures at military facilities, including territorial recruitment and social support centers, will be tightened following recent bombings, the Communications Department of the Land Forces Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said on Feb. 7.
Law enforcement officials are investigating the recent attacks on the Territorial Centre of Recruitment (TCC) and Social Support.
In response, security measures have been heightened across all military units, institutions, and facilities under the Land Forces Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to protect personnel, civilians, and visitors from potential emergencies.
The Land Forces outlined the following steps:
- Increased patrolling of military facilities and surrounding areas.
- Enhanced access control at military sites.
- Upgraded video surveillance systems and technical measures to detect and prevent unauthorized actions.
- Additional briefings and training for security personnel on emergency response procedures.
Further briefings were also conducted with duty services from the State Emergency Service, police, and the Security Service of Ukraine.
