Throughout the day, the Air Force repeatedly announced sightings of Shahed drones in Sumy Oblast.
At 10:23 a.m., alerts indicated Shahed drones were moving toward Sumy, with further updates at 11:47 a.m. noting drones in the Sumy district heading towards the regional center. At 2:31 p.m., another warning came that drones were approaching Sumy from the north.
Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, head of the Sumy City Military Administration, reported that three airstrikes were executed by Russians on Sumy in the first half of the day. These attacks damaged civilian infrastructure, ignited fires, and caused power outages in parts of the city. Fortunately, preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties.
