Novatus Miroshi says that he understands his teammates when
they speak their native language and promised to do his best to communicate in
Ukrainian in a few months, the FC Shakhtar Donetsk press service reported on
March 4.
They said that they heard from the players and club staff that Miroshi is already learning Ukrainian, and even heard some Ukrainian words from him.
He responded that it is not that he is fluent, but he does understand what people say. He added that they are surprised when he responds accordingly. Everyone is happy that he understands requests and instructions. He tries to learn as fast as he can, because he believes it is very important to communicate with everyone.
“I will do my best, and in a few months I will try to communicate in Ukrainian," said Miroshi.
It is worth noting that Miroshi is on loan to Shakhtar from S.V. Zulte Waregem until the end of the season. The player has played only four matches in the current season.
