Critical infrastructure facility in Lviv Oblast hit by Russian Shahed drone shrapnel

The Air Defense Forces and mobile fire groups shot down all the drones that entered the airspace of Lviv Oblast.

Their wreckage did, however, damage a critical infrastructure facility, causing a fire that was swiftly extinguished. There were no casualties.

All basic services in Lviv Oblast are operating normally, according to Kozytskyi.

Russia's strike on Ukraine overnight on April 8-9

Russia carried out a new massive overnight attack with Shahed suicide drones. This time, the Iranian-designed UAVs tried to attack not only the south, but also the western and central oblasts of Ukraine: air defense systems were operating in Lviv Oblast, and explosions were heard in Poltava and Khmelnytskyi oblasts.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military shot down 20 of the 20 Shaheds launched by the Russians.
