“Last night, an air raid alert was declared six times in our city,” he said.
Two men, aged 62 and 65, were hospitalized, one is in serious condition.
An infrastructure facility and several civilian buildings were damaged. One drone hit an apartment on the upper floors of a high-rise building, setting it ablaze. A nearby store, a warehouse, and a service station were destroyed.
Another drone fell near a private residence, damaging the façade and windows. A third drone fell on the grounds of a garage cooperative, damaging seven garages and two cars.
"All fires were quickly extinguished by rescuers. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attack, which is yet another war crime committed by Russia against the civilian population of the Odesa region," Lysak said.
Emergency efforts to mitigate the consequences of the attack are ongoing.
