Sixteen injured, multiple buildings damaged in drone attack on Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Sixteen people were injured and a number of buildings sustained damage in Khmelnytskyi Oblast overnight after a Russian drone attack, according to Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, on Oct. 25.

Falling debris in Slavuta, Shepetivka district, resulted in 16 people reporting injuries at local hospitals. Nine houses, 11 multi-story residential buildings, two educational institutions, an administrative building, a store, and several vehicles were damaged.

Debris was also reported in Netishyn, the location of the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant; the plant is not reported to be damaged.

During the night, an alert was issued in several regions of Ukraine, particularly in western areas. Air defense forces successfully intercepted all 11 Iranian drones launched by Russia.
