The UN Security Council will hold an open meeting on Ukraine on Dec. 9, APA reported, citing the press office of Slovenia’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
The session is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
According to the mission, the initiative for the meeting was supported by Denmark, France, the United Kingdom, Greece, and South Korea, following a national request submitted by Slovenia. No additional details were immediately available.
Slovenia currently holds the Council’s rotating presidency for the month of December.
