Earthquake shakes western Ukraine

An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale was recorded in Ukraine’s western Chernivtsi Oblast on July 13, the Main Center for Special Control reported the following day.

The quake hit near the village of Konyatyn in the Vyzhnytsia district. It had a magnitude of 2.6 and occurred at a depth of three kilometers.

It was classified as barely perceptible.
