Spain closes airspace to U.S. aircraft involved in Iran war

Spain has closed its airspace to U.S. military aircraft involved in strikes on Iran, Defense Minister Margarita Robles said on March 30, as reported by Reuters.

Madrid previously refused to allow the use of Spanish air bases for the Iran war, prompting U.S. President Donald Trump to threaten to “cut all trade” with Spain.
