“We’re grateful to our partners for addressing this critical need,” said Deputy Defense Minister for Digitalization Kateryna Chernohorenko.
“Their swift response and flexibility in making this decision are vital, especially now when our Defense Forces need them most.”
She highlighted that the drones will enhance terrain scouting and situational awareness, key to effective combat operations.
The ministry noted that in February, the Drone Coalition launched its third international tender for multirotor reconnaissance UAVs, with Ukrainian developers among the participants. The first selection stage is ongoing.
Formed in February 2024 during the 19th Ramstein meeting, the coalition includes Latvia, the United Kingdom, Australia, Czechia, Denmark, France, Estonia, Italy, New Zealand, Canada, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Germany, Sweden, and Ukraine.
