According to the report, the suspects posted advertisements for the sale of weapons on a specialized website. Orders were shipped to "clients" via mail, and payments were made to bank cards.
In addition, the man and woman from Lviv allegedly laundered the proceeds, the prosecutor's office stated.
Searches of the suspects' premises uncovered 72 handguns, 20 automatic rifles, 29 different types of grenades, nearly 49,000 rounds of various calibers, and components for different weapons. Authorities also seized nearly UAH 10 million (approximately $240,000).
Moreover, law enforcement arrested assets including an apartment, houses, land plots, six vehicles, seven units of equipment, and registered firearms, with a combined value exceeding UAH 17.5 million ($420,000).
