U.S. Congressmen Mike Rogers (R-AL), Jerry Carl (R-AL), and Mike Quigley (D-IL) have arrived in Kyiv on Nov. 1, U.S. Ambassador Bridget Brink announced.

Rogers is a member of the Republican Party, a candidate for the vacant Michigan Senate seat, and currently a congressman from Alabama. Carl is also an Alabama congressman and a Republican. Quigley is a Democrat and a congressman from Illinois.

During their visit, the congressmen toured the Kyiv patrol department of Ukraine’s National Police, according to Ambassador Brink.

“Our first stop was at the National Police of Ukraine to see firsthand how U.S. assistance is making a difference on the ground in support of Ukraine’s freedom and democracy,” Brink wrote in a Twitter post.

No further details of their visit were disclosed.
